Normally when I eat other brownies, they are dry and flakey. These brownies are moist, dense, and perfectly delicious. What I love about this recipe is that the dry ingredients are sifted together, this creates an even consistency throughout the brownies that just melts in your mouth.
One thing I remember specifically about these brownies is how one time during a sleepover at my neighbor's house with 2 other friend, we were all craving these brownies so much. At 2:30 am we walked over to my house to bake them. When we came back to my friend's house, the dish was empty within 10 minutes.

Ingredients
1/2 cup (1 stick, 113 grams) Unsalted Butter melted hot
1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) Vegetable Oil or Coconut Oil
2 Eggs
2 teaspoons (10 milliliters) Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup (60 grams) All-Purpose Flour
1/2 cup (60 grams) Cocoa Powder
1/4 teaspoon (2 grams) Salt
handful Chocolate Chips
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking/baking oil. Line pan with parchment paper by pressing a sheet of parchment paper into the pan letting it stick to the oil.
Step 2
With an electric hand or stand mixer combine hot melted butter, oil, and sugar together in a medium-sized bowl. Beat well for about a minute. Add the eggs and vanilla, beating until lighter in color for about a minute.
Step 3
Place a sifter on top of the bowl and put the flour, cocoa powder, and salt inside the sifter. Sift the dry ingredients into the wet-ingredients in the bowl.
Step 4
Using a spatula, gently fold in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just
combined (do not over-mix as doing so will affect the texture of the brownies).
Step 5
Pour the batter into prepared pan and smooth the top out evenly. Top off the batter with chocolate chips.
Step 6
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool for 5-10 minutes and enjoy!!
